DTF Application Instructions
DTF Transfer Application Instructions
For the best results, follow these general heat press guidelines when applying your Earthline Customs DTF transfers.
Recommended Heat Press Settings:
- Cotton: 300–315°F
- Polyester & Blends: 275–300°F
- Pressure: Medium to firm
- Press Time: 10–15 seconds
- Peel: Follow the peel instructions supplied with your transfers.
Step-by-Step Application:
- Pre-Press: Press your garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
- Position: Place your DTF transfer on the garment with the printed design facing up and the adhesive side against the fabric.
- Press: Apply heat using the recommended temperature, pressure, and time.
- Peel: Allow the transfer to cool as instructed before carefully removing the carrier film.
- Final Press: Cover the design with parchment paper or a protective finishing sheet and press for an additional 5–10 seconds.
Important Tips:
- A commercial heat press is recommended for consistent results.
- Always test unfamiliar fabrics before production.
- Avoid pressing directly onto exposed printed designs without a protective sheet.
- Wait at least 24 hours before washing.
- Wash garments inside out in cold water and tumble dry on low or hang dry.
- Do not iron directly over the transfer.
Please Note: Heat press settings vary depending on the fabric, equipment, and transfer film. Always follow the specific application instructions included with your order, as those take priority over these general recommendations. Standard Turnaround Time: 1–3 Business Days
Our standard production turnaround time is 1–3 business days, excluding weekends, holidays, and shipping transit time. Orders are processed in the order they are received.

Please note that RUSH SHIPPING does NOT expedite production. Upgrading your shipping method only reduces the shipping transit time after your order has been completed in our production queue.
To move your order to the front of our printing queue, you must purchase our RUSH FEE Add-On.
Important: Rush production and rush shipping are two separate services. Purchasing expedited shipping alone does not guarantee faster production or an earlier ship date.
We recommend planning ahead to allow sufficient time for both production and delivery.

At Earthline Customs, every custom DTF transfer is printed specifically for you using the artwork and specifications provided at checkout.
All Custom Sales Are Final
Due to the personalized nature of our products, all custom printed transfers are final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds, except in cases of verified production errors or defective products.
Artwork Responsibility
- Customers are responsible for uploading accurate, high-quality, print-ready artwork.
- All artwork is printed as submitted, including any backgrounds, imperfections, spelling errors, or resolution issues.
- Excess transparent space may be automatically trimmed, but backgrounds are not automatically removed.
- Colors may vary slightly between your screen and the finished printed transfer.
- Please verify your selected transfer size, artwork, and quantity before completing your purchase.
- Additional artwork editing, cleanup, or corrections may require a separate fee.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Because custom orders may enter production shortly after being placed, changes and cancellations are not guaranteed. Once production has begun, orders cannot be canceled or modified.
Printing Errors or Defective Products
If you receive an incorrect or defective transfer due to an error on our part, please contact Earthline Customs within 3 business days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
We will review the concern and work with you to resolve any verified production errors.
Application Responsibility
Customers are responsible for following the recommended DTF application instructions. Earthline Customs is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect heat press settings, improper application, or garment incompatibility.
